St. Patty Week

I am not really that good at celebrating regular holidays let alone the ones that I don' t consider to be real holidays for the non Irish, but in spirit of GREEN (my favorite color) I had to do something, so I made green pancakes for breakfast. Made sure all the kids were wearing green so that they wouldn't get pinched of course. I even made Runzas for dinner which kind of counts since it has cabbage.

On Saturday, we went to the Gem and Rock show. We go every year and I love it. I use to contemplate becoming a Geologist in my early college years. Our favorite thing to do is get the grab bag for a dollar with different rocks in them. This year it was fun because there was a man there to help the boys identify what rocks were in their bag. The boys got some pretty cool looking rock specimens, but imagine how surprised Noah was to find out that he had coprolite aka petrified dinosaur poop in his bag.

When we got home the kids were reexamining their rocks when I overheard this conversation. N:"I got dinosaur poop and you doesn't Jaron." J: "Hey Noah, can you share your dinosaur poop with me?"
Ah, future geologist in the making!
