My fingers and wrist are slowly getting a little function back, but they are still really stiff and sore. I still have to wear a wrap on my wrist to support it. The doctor said that I should gain most function back within a week and a half. Hopefully that is true. (you never know with doctors sometimes) I can at least say that after several exfoliation sessions and some smells-good lotion my arm does not look or smell so Halloween creepy!
Tuesday was also our anniversary!! Three whole years!! I can hardly believe it. Three years doesn't really seem like that long, but when I think of all the things that have happened in the last three years it is amazing. We have been truly blessed.
For our anniversary Glen got me some new kitchen knives and I got him a griddle. We also got a double stroller for the boys. ( All very exciting gifts to us) That night Glen's parents watched Jaron, so Glen could take me out to eat at the Art City Trolley. It was a nice evening.

Congratulations to you! 3 years and 2 babies is pretty impressive. Keep it up!! We love you guys.
YAY! I bet you're SOOO glad to have that cast off! It must be easier to snuggle you're babies. :)
And Congrats on 3 years!! That's awesome.
You seem so happy Rachel! I'm so happy for you. Just 3 years, huh? It seems so much longer than that. Maybe it's that you've had 2 munchkins already. Good work!
Congrats on baby #2! You are a good woman to have gone through child birth with a cast on. Personally, I have now had two c-sections, the second taking less than 15 minutes, and I still don't think I could do it with a cast! Jake and I are going to be celebrating 7 years this year. Our ten year high school reunion is also the night before our anniversary. Are we really that old? Time sure is going fast. I had fun looking through your blog. By the way, was I really that bad to live with that you would say OCD? Come on! Ok- you may be just a little bit accurate! However with 2 kids I think that I am losing it for other reasons than that!
I just found your blog and I am so excited to stay caught up with your family. I am glad that the cast has finally come off. I am sure that is a huge relief for you. Check out my blog at
