Are you going?

This is mostly for the people that I went to high school with, but anyone can put in their two bits. Are you going to the class reunion? If you are which parts are you going to? I think that I am for sure going to the daytime part since I don't have to worry about the kids. I would like to go to the night time one, but I am a little worried about my baby. Also, I am just a bit upset that they are charging $25 dollars a head for the dinner. I think that is just a bit outragous especially for the people who have spend far more than that just travelling to get the thing. There better be gold flakes on the top of my dinner :) (getting off soap box now)
Anyway, I will probably get more excited if I knew that more of my friends were going . I just thought I would ask and see if I got any responses from all you aged people going to the ten year reunion. ;) It really is hard to believe that it has been that long.

Hey- if it helps with the sting, my 10 year reunion is $47.00 (that's right I said $47.00) a head! And we don't have anything else but this- no daytime stuff or anything. So this is our only thing to go to. So depsite my husband's complaints we are going. I am also thinking about taking on some more kids to babysit just so that we can afford it. ha ha

Hey Rach- I'll be going to the zoo thing but not the evening thing. Michelle & Kristen aren't either so we are getting together that night instead. Want to join? We will have more fun for a lot cheaper I'm sure! FYI- last year the class of 97 was that expensive too. From what I hear, the meal was gross & the fee mostly covered the free bar. How would that make you feel??? Let me know if you want to hang with us instead.

Ditto to Christina's comment. Let's get together outside of the night time thing. We gotta keep green in our own pockets these days. I know there are some people that worked hard to organize it. I just really want to see my good friends without having to deal with drinking, high school games that still go on, and paying for it.

I will be sad not to see you at the evening activity if you decide not to go. Give me a call if you want and I will let you know who is going to be there. We tried to get it as cheap as we could- I promise! Dinner is 18 a plate, and we needed to pay for some other things too, NOT a bar. People are paying for their own drinks at the bar on the premises. That is one of the reasons we had to move it somewhere other than the high school: People were saying that they had a right to drink, and I agree, they do. I'm trying really hard not to take this reunion thing personally, but its hard when I've put so much time into it. I guarantee if you ask anyone else how much their reunions cost, it will be at least $25. If anyone can do it for less than that, I'd really like to know how they did it. Anyway, it will be great to see you at the zoo! And if you want to come to the evening thing, let me know. Give me a call- 435-790-9869.

Hey Rachel - I will be at the daytime thing as well but not the night time dinner. I am a more casual person and I love having my kids with me (so if nothing else, I can talk to them -ha, ha!). I though dinner was a little expensive too. I really hope to see you there!!!!

Rachel,
You know I would love to go, but unfortunately with a baby in the hospital it won't be possible!!! Tell everyone hi for me!
