When my friend turned 30 she put up a list of the 30 things that she has experienced over the years. I thought that was a great idea, so here are mine.
The top 30 things that I have done, happened to me, or blessings that I have in chronological order mostly. I decided after making the list that my kids should either count for more or I need to start making a goal to do more things. ;)
- Graduated from high school
- Was the VP of the Senior class
- Earned an associates degree from Ricks College
- Worked in an Alaskan Fish Cannery for a summer
- After work I bummed around Alaska for awhile in Anchorage, Homer, and Seward
- Spent a summer in Ohio living with my sister's family and working
- That same summer I went with my family to New York and Washington D. C
- Had my appendix taken out.
- Went on my first date with Glen a couple of weeks after my appendix was taken out (He came along just in time to fill the void)
- Went to the temple to receive my endowment
- Earned my dual major B.S. Degrees in Severe Special Education and Elementary Education at Utah State University- See the colors flying, the Aggie Blue and Fighting White!!!
- Served a mission for the LDS church to the Micronesia Guam Mission
- Taught in Idaho for 1 year
- Married my wonderful hubby
- Went to Williamsburg, VA (honeymoon)
- Taught in Utah for 2 years
- Bought our first home.
- Started getting gray hair/cut off my signature long curly hair
- Had Jaron
- Went to Williamsburg,VA again (family reunion)
- Broke my wrist right before I had Noah.
- Had Noah
- Had a 10 year high school reunion
- Last Christmas Glen and I had our first night away from the boys since Jaron was born
- Got back into playing volleyball again
- Joined a book club
- Joined the ward choir
- Just got called to be the 1st counselor in Primary (I say just as in the week before I had Ian)
- Had Ian
- My husband (and I) will be getting his masters degree by the end of this summer

Congrats on the new calling. Did the whole presidency change? It's weird being an outsider of the Cambridge ward. :( I do miss all of you! And CONGRATS on Glen finishing his masters this year. That went fast (although not to you I'm sure!). I bet you'll be so happy to have him home during the evenings again.
