Imagination

Jaron is getting quite creative and imaginative lately. Here are a few of the things that he likes to do.

Jaron's songs:
He made up a song for Noah called Run baby, Run baby. Basically just those words repeated over and over again to a tune.

Yesterday he listened to the music coming from my knee and my toe. "Let's check and see" Apparently they were singing my name.

The day before yesterday he told me that he had a brand new song. Then he asked if I wanted to hear it. Of course I said yes. This is how it went:
Brand New Song, Brand New Song,
Brand New, Brand New, Brand New Song (Repeat)

Imaginary play:
Aparently we picked up a friend troll on our way back from the Library and brought him home. First he just walked by and said hi troll. Then as we kept walking and getting closer to the car he said,"Wait, I need my troll."
I even ended up "changing the troll's diaper" before him and Jaron went to take a nap. "Come sleep with me" he said to the troll as he was getting in bed. When Jaron came down stairs after his nap he was talking to me for a little bit and then he said "oh, my troll. I go get him"

He also has become friend with the most unlikely imaginary friends: obviously the troll, but also Swiper or "swibert" from Dora, monsters, alligators, and sharks. Yesterday he was saying there was an alligator under his bed. I said augh and gave a scared look. Jaron said,"He's nice. He's my friend." That is usually what he says about all of his unlikely imaginary friends. What a character that son of our is. Also really quick another thing he said yesterday about Noah that was so cute. "I like Noah. He's pretty cute." He also enjoys getting pictures with "two buddies". Whenever he lies down next to Noah he says "Two buddies. Probably take a picture."

If you click on the picture it makes it ginormous and you can see Noah's two teeth.

I really appreciate hearing about the special songs your son sings you...I try to be excited about each and every one but some days they make me crazy from Cole. Mostly the creativity is good, I hope. :)

Was that big wheel toy a Grandma and Grandpa Beebe present? They love to give big wheels to the grandkids I've noticed. Cute pic of Jaron and Noah together. Good luck with Noah, I'm sure he'll be into everything in no time, just like Emery. Hope you guys had a good Christmas, it was great to see you guys, even if Glen looked like death warmed over. Chase does our blog if you want to look at it... homestarjr.blogspot.com
